Sorry Frank I meant to add to the last post...

Yes I do realise that FIRM works over CAT5 however, all my IR stuff is
wired back to where HV lives anyway so I don't see this as a problem
if:

I can adapt and connect directly to the FIRM controller

Or

I can use the likes of an adaptor to connect to the FIRM controller.

Ultimately this would also give me the flexibility to be able to use
FIRM in other zones as needed.
