Not if I can zone the IR off Frank and make the system I have in place
a
bit smarter.
If, as I am told, that the IR can be passed back to FIRM and I can stop
the signal being passed from there to any other zone then it solves the
signal being blatted around the system. But, more than that, it stops
the Sony TV in the lounge responding to IR commands sent to the Sony in
the bedroom as both use the same IR code set.
Since FIRM connects to HV via hard wire and TXs that way then it
eliminates a lot of needless complication in that way I've done things
and could stop conflicts/feedback.
The Xantech system runs on 12V and I have the Buffalo RX units running
the same way as Mark, only at 12V and they're fine.
The emitters just go to the normal 3.5mm (I think) plug for an output
to
each zone.
