Hi Tony,

Check out the UK Compaq site as this is where I got details to send mine
for
repair. If the screen is duffed as it was with mine, then the cost is about
130-150 quid if I remember correctly. You could do it yourself as there is
a
parts support mentioned on the Compaq site too.

Copaq quote 5 days to collect and return the unit working.

Make a backup if you can as it will return as if it where new with only the
OS installed, and the latest at that.

Nooooooooooooo.....
One of my sprogs managed to stand on my poor 3850.
The screen seems a bit shagged now along the right hand side and
bottom.  Can't see any physical cracks but can't read 1/2 of it.

Anyone know how/where to get em replaced????

Don't really want to have to buy a new ipaq :(
(Well I do too, but you know what I mean!).
