Chris, I think the point was that linux does not _run_ these apps, not
that
there aren't alternatives out there that may do a similar job.
Even if it can deal with all the file formats you are familiar with in
windows program X, moving to something different involves retraining
etc
etc, which is a big consideration for a company planning to switch....
