Correct. Don't use your SKY controller anymore coz the TiVo won't
know
what's going on.
TiVo will change all your channels for you.

I have all my sources feeding into my AV amp, which then feeds the
lounge
tv/projector.
All sources, that is, except SKY, which goes into the TiVo and I only
watch
sky via TiVo.
I also have all sources feeding into a 40 quid SCART switcher which will
do
6 inputs to 1 output - which will be a AKT5 unit as soon as Keith builds
it
for me - this feeds to the master bedroom.
This is a temoprary measure until the KAT5 switcher comes along, when I
will
have ultimate flexibility to feed everything everywhere!
Whether I still connect everything direct to the AV amp or bung it all
via
the KAT5 switcher first remains to be seen (The advantage would be
fewer
cables as only one output taken from each device)
The projector in the lounge and the TV are fed from a single KAT TX
unit
(using an RX and RXU unit respectively) - in your case, there's no
reason
this could not be a feed to another room.
Basically, there seems to be no simple ideal solution at present, but
you
should be able to achieve some of what you want with KAT5 units,
possibly
some unterminated ones for multi drop and/or a bog standard scart switcher
-
depends on how many destinations you have really.
Having the IR system in place definitely helps, as you shouldn't have
any
problems with all the kit in node 0
(I had problems with TiVo and powermids so TiVo lives in the lounge).

KAT5 units to the rescue again - and you can reuse them when you buy a
switcher.
May as well send Svideo around if you can though.....
