Some Triax kit from Keene for one room, homebrew electonics for the 
others.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, then building it yourself is a 
doddle using Nigel Orr's original circuit - and considerably cheaper 
than anything I've found off the shelf.

That reminds me, I had a simple wired extended from Keene too - and 
that didn't last long either (but it was better made than the Let's 
stuff).
