You cannot use LW10's to control energy saving or fluorescent bulbs as
the switch uses the bulb as a return path (ground) and these bulbs do
not conduct until they "strike". You also cannot dim these bulbs anyway.

No ... You can use it to turn the light On and Off and then use the
dimmer to adjust the level...
