xAP Update
Dear all,
It's been a few weeks since the last xAP Update.
Over the last few weeks, there've been a number of new xAP devices/programs
released.
One of the main technical breakthroughs is that we've sorted out the
network code so that the released xAPps will work on ANY subnet mask, not
just 255.255.0.0 - this has led to new versions of about 15 apps.
Other than that
- a new xAP module that provides a control interface to K400 curtain
controllers.
- a display module that converts xAP messages to XML so a stylesheet can
display them in a web browser.
- a framework architecture that resolves the "how do different serial
devices show different information".
- an invitation to have a piece about xAP on American TV (Morley Schaffer -
also carried on "Voice of America")
