Bar steward!  I knew you'd remind me of that!
I _nearly_ had to go the Xantech route due to the channel changing problems
& was soooo pleased when I thought to extend the TiVo IR out over CAT 5. 
I refuse to pay 80 odd quiid for a tube thingy to pick up the IR signals in
the first place.
This has meant I spent a shed load more on KAT5 units to feed SKY to the
Tivo and back to Node 0 :(
OTOH, KAT5 units are worth it IMO and re-usable in the future if I
re-arrange everything.
As I said, I am sooo close that I don't want to, amongst other things, scrap
4 powermids!

I'd like to wait and see if the IR returns over KAT 5 will offer me what I
need before I throw more money at it and then find KAT5 gives me hard wired
IR at a fraction of the Xantech cost and without 'wasting' extra CAT5
sockets.....
