quality of pictures depends on cameras, lighting and the recorder.
true, camera is the source of video thus the saying garbage in garbage

read the specifications of recorders carefully. 16 video inputs may seem
a
good buy
but almost all digital recorders specifies the best resolution for 1
input.
additional video input
will degrades the video quality. if quality of picture is important to
u
look for cieffe.
i am installing them now and customer is quite happy with the quality
of
video.
