I've been waiting for a couple of home-brew IR systems to appear but the
guys involved have "real jobs" too so progress is slow. 
Since installing TiVo the need for IR distribution is much more urgent (the
Mrs watches a lot of her TiVo recordings from the bedroom).

So we're putting in Xantech gear.  Yes, it's pricey - but (so far)
it's been a joy to use.  There's a lot to be said for plug and play
:)

We've been taking photos as we go so I hope to get something up on the
website next week.
