So how deep a back box does the 2-channel switch need?  (I presume it is
only 1-gang wide, but TLC call it "2-Gang" because it is a two channel
dimmer?)

I mentioned this a little while back. I ordered the 2-gang switch in brushed

steel or something. It works well and unlike other dimmers, there is no
noise.
Haven't got round to digging out a space for the back-box yet...the old
switch
had a low-profile back-box. Looks nice though. Forgot to get the remote for
it
though.
