Ah, so the user IQ too low factor strikes again :-/
I hope you charged him suitably for this, but I know you don't do that kinda
thing.
So now _you_ have a paperweight or it costs you to send to HPT for fixing :(
Presumably they either reflash the machine in a *special* way, or just
replace the eprom with a kosher one?
Either way, they should provide the retailer with a means to repair it
themselves.....
