Sorry, Dave, didn't mean to rub it in :)

Which model do you have? Are you sure it has the low battery warning on the
232? The APC serial cables have transistors built in the connectors on some
models it seems.

Bit naughty of APC to change them around within a range just to keep us on
our toes.
