RE: OT: Always On dial up ISP suggestions ??

Its just too much to justify, as I would still have to pay BT for 2
phone
lines and I really don't need high bandwidth, just always on.

Surely there must be a market for this where people don't want high
bandwidth but do want always on connectivity. If the data charge for
GPRS
wasn't so high that would be an option. For me charging by the Mb would be
a
great model.

They have yet to reply to my question as to what unreasonable use
consitutes
- although I am really in no position to complain as I am permanently
connected.

I did get a standard bulk email from Fast24 last week applogising for
the
terrible levels of service provision and stating they were going to
terminate the contracts of the top users to free up 20% of the ports.
Which
to be honest sounds like a reasonable step for improving service for
everyone, just doesn't help me much.

Just what have Fast24 decided that "unreasonable use" is? When I
joined them
back in January they said that 16 hours a day was OK...
