A> Useless

I work for an ISP that specialises in ADSL, it takes 10 seconds for a line
test and then just five working days for ADSL to be installed. i.e. If I
placed an order tomorrow, it would be live next Friday.

See the difference between BT Wholesale and the other arms of BT.

Hi,

Having moved from NTL to BT, I'm being told that it will take between 7
and 42 day before a line test can be carried out, something to do with
information comming back from the exchange. Is this true, or are BT just
being useless ?

Stuart
