Re: RE: Ceiling Speakers

Hi James,

I'm about to install some in my bathroom, kitchen and bedroom - initially j= ust
for announcements, but the kitchen and bathroom ones will be used for music= in
the future so I want something reasonable.

Where are you sourcing the B&W ones from?

Thanks,
Jon.

Hi,

I'm no HiFi expert, but I installed a pair of very cheap waterproof<= BR> marine speakers (about =A313 a pair if I remember correctly) from Farnell,<= BR> and for the bathroom they're perfectly fine (not really HiFi quality
though).  I've started installed B&W CCM20 speakers throughout my = house,
and I'm very happy with their sound quality etc - in particular I needed the smallest possible depth (only 3 inch gap between plasterboard and
floor above), and also they're quite inconspicuous.  Apparently they'r= e
the same physical speaker (cone or whatever) as the 303 (?) or
something, which always seems to be well regarded in the HiFi press.

James
