RE: Stair Mats

I use two on the stairs
That way I detect whether someone is going up or down

Homevision looks after the maths

Though I am thinking of moving the actual sensing over to Comfort

I hadn't realised how cheap the "stair mat" pressure sensors were...

http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TS045.html

Has anyone actually interfaced them to HomeVision (or a PC-based Home
Automation System.)

I can imagine that I'd want to know whether someone was going up or down
stairs, and given that someone might only tread on alternate stairs, there's
some subtlety...

... anyway, I'm sure someone has it cracked... what's the experiences?

M.
