PR511 Floodlight
I recently bought a PR511 X10 floodlight (actually the 1st X10 device I
have). As far as i can tell from tests, when set to turn on with motion the
light triggers even during daylight. is this correct ? Is there any way of
configuring it to activate the floodlight only during night ?
I'm struggling to understand the purpose of a security light that triggers
during the day (especially when it clearly has a dusk/dawn sensor built
in).
If I set it up so that the motion detector and dawn/dusk sensors signal a
controller (e.g. comfort whch I've also bought but not yet installed) which
then controls the light directly via X10 if its both dark and motion
detected, then as I understand it the motion detector will be disabled
until X10 off is receieved. Off would therfore have to be via a timer which
I presume would result in flash off then on every 2 minutes (or whatever
time is used) if motion is still detected ?
