X10 reliability

Have any of the more long term users of X10 devices got any views on the
longevity of X10 modules?

We've had a handful of devices for 2 or 3 years now. Over that period, we've
had the usual fuses blow in the dimmers which is no great shakes. However,
to date, we've also lost 1 AD10 (out of 3 in common use), 1 LD10 out of 1 in
daily use. And our TM12U RF receiver stopped working a few weeks ago too.

I'm wondering whether this is unusual, or whether replacing them is going to
become a 3 or so yearly requirement, which could get costly. Not that I see
much alternative.

Feedback welcome.

Ray Barnett.
