RE: RJ45 modules are wired to 568B



As an aside to this question, can anybody point me to a map of the wiring
schemes for comparison. (I know that is an FAQ, and I know I've seen loads
of links with the answer to this lately, but I didn't pay much attention at
the time.. - sorry!)

Reason being, I've got a 48 port panel that I got on ebay, it is colour
coded, but doesn't actually state on the unit what standard it is coded for
(unlike most I've seen, this one is not coded for both A & B, there's only
one set of colour codes printed).

I have used 568B exclusively in my house, and if it turns out that this
panel is coded for A, then I need to work out how to map that round to B so
it will work in my house...
