RE: Clipsal

The 1 & 2 are the 2 positions of the switch.

Press to make
Press to break

with respect to common.

The "Loop" terminal should be just a terminal connected to nothing where you
can join a couple of wires together.

Verify the above with a multimeter.

Subject: [ukha_d] Clipsal

Hi all, just installing some lighting wiring to DIN rails and come across a
problem...

I was going to use momentary switches to the DIN modules but I have a 2-way
stairs lights which I was going to remove and replace both cable runs with
1mm mains cable but now I am undertaking the work I notice the clipsal PTM
switches have 4 connections, so now I am not sure if I need to replace the
original cable?

I was going to connect the cable to the 1 and centre connectors but as there
is a 2 and loop I am sure I can connect the 2-way cable to this some how?

Can anyone advise me or point me towards a wiring diagram for this please?

Thanks all,

B.
