The Sky codes are unusual (and every digibox - SkyPlus excepted - uses
the
same codes).
Most of the UK multi-remotes have now been upgraded to cope but older ones
-
and presumably American ones - will not be programmed or able to learn
them.
The same applies to some IR receivers.
Unless it can be upgraded I don't think you'll get it to work. Sorry!

I've bought a smart looking 5-in-1 learning remote from X10:
http://www.x10.com/products/x10_ur74a.htm
It has most IR codes built-in except for the Sky Digibox (Pace). Is
Pace is sold under a different brand name in the USA? It won't learn
the codes from an original Sky remote. I realise the Sky remote works
at a higher frequency than normal remotes, but it managed to learn
the "2" button! Shame there's no channel 222! ;-)
Any ideas how I can force it to learn the Sky codes?
Thanks,
Gary.
