Paul,

Can't help you at the moment.. I'm in the same boat :)

There was a ebay auction recently for a TFT and a VGA tuner

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3D138518= 5754&rd=3D1

What I want to do is to put the TFT in a bathroom wall (like the recent
Fuji control panel thread), sealed behind a glass sheet (to protect it
>from it from remote (also fixed in the wall or bath). This way I can watch TV in the bath ! The remote would be run from remotely mounted battery
compartment and the IR signal routed to a small IR light inside the TFT
enclosure to transmit the control signals. Since everything is running
off 12volts and on RCD circuits, and the only thing the bather touches
is the battery operated remote, I figure it should be pretty safe.

anyone using one of those external TV tuner modules for VGA monitors? - on= e

I've come to the conclusion that the portable TV I've got in the kitchen i= s
taking up too much counter-top space, so I was thinking about getting an LCD
TV. Unfortunately the absolute cheapest one of those is nigh on =A3600 for= a

I can get a "good" standard LCD monitor panel for half that, and= a tuner
module for around =A350-=A3100. This would be much easier to get SWMBO app= roval

I must have one which includes a remote control, is *very* easy to use, an= d
preferably which also has an additional video input (can be either RF or composite, don't mind which), for Sky...

Thoughts?
