If its liek the one that I tried, they make the interlaces 16khz signal
into a non interlaces 31.something khz one by adding black scanlines
between the lines of each field. This is ok on a CRT as not lighting the
screen is the same as not scanning it (as long as your brightness isnt
too high) but on an LCD means that its trying to turn pixels on and off
rather rapidly, meaning a picture that just flickers and is very washed
out looking.
