VGA TV tuner module?

Hi chaps,

anyone using one of those external TV tuner modules for VGA monitors? - one
of the ones that does *not* require a PC to be on (or even present)...

I've come to the conclusion that the portable TV I've got in the kitchen is
taking up too much counter-top space, so I was thinking about getting an
LCD
TV. Unfortunately the absolute cheapest one of those is nigh on £600 for a
15" jobbie.

I can get a "good" standard LCD monitor panel for half that, and
a tuner
module for around £50-£100. This would be much easier to get SWMBO approval
for...

I must have one which includes a remote control, is *very* easy to use, and
preferably which also has an additional video input (can be either RF or
composite, don't mind which), for Sky...

Thoughts?
