RE: [OT] Windows Network Boot

I have a VB program that I use as a shell replacement, but it would require
windows to be loaded.

There is a DOS RDP client out there, so that may be your best bet:

Hope this helps,

Hi,

After just installing Terminal Server on my newly rebuilt Win2K server, I
had a thought...

Is there a windows product that is just a thin-client front end to terminal
services?  i.e. boot up simply puts up the login window to a remote terminal
server, thus removing the need for extra hard disks and such...

My main thought is that maybe I could combine this with a Via Eden board and
CF card instead of having a hard drive.

Also/Instead, anyone know if I put a winCE (or Windows XP embedded) image
onto a CF card, will that need to write back to the CF card for things like
virtual memory etc.?  I.e. will the card's limited # of writes be used up by
using winCE?

Just thoughts for a future HA project

TIA

-Dan
