Gents,

This post has NOTHING to do with HA, so if you don't like OT posts, hit
delete NOW!

Here's the scenario...

I need to compile an asset register of cpu size, hard drive size etc, and OS
against machine name.  I CANT install any new software on the client
machines, and I don't want to visit each and every machine (cause I'm lazy).

What I need is a piece of software that will "scout" the LAN, and come back
with the required info, without needing an app at the client end to talk to.

IS THIS POSSIBLE???
