Aha! That's long been my plan too after my Mother suggested it!!!
Being a bit more savvy in the curtain field than I am, when I was
pondering this upon buying a house last year, she reckoned the
blackout lining material on the curtains was expensive to do and not
as effective and this would be a better option. One filed away for
some time in the future when I get to that.
