I’m pretty sure that entire
hotel (lights,
curtains etc) was kitted out by the guys from Polaron
Controls.

I do seem to remember a consumer version of the same clock in one of the
Innovations catalogues some time ago – it isn’t on their
current
website, but there is a very cool looking 225x telescope on there at the
bargain price of £349!

Dubai stay at the Bruj Al Arab for just one

the HA stuff there is
