RE: OT Outlook Issues

Title: Message
Hi

try this

Properties for the pst folder, then select advanced and then compact.

I seems like Outlook does not release the space when you delete emails

regards

Subject: RE: [ukha_d] OT Outlook Issues

Apologies for the OT post, but I have a user here with an issue in outlook 2k, and her .pst file.

The file is being reported as 300meg, and when you view it, there are 127 e-mails in there and the file size on average is 2kb. And one mail at 15meg.. but that’s it …

I’ve done a search on the file.. and it only finds 127 files and one folder (deleted items which is empty)

Can anyone shed any light as to where these files may be ? or what may have happened.

I’ve tried scanpst and it found no errors but said there were 4 folders and 127 e-mails.

I’m stuck!

If anyone can offer any advice on this, it would be most appreciated.

Regards

Jonathan.
