Dan - also take a look over the work that has been done on Tonto which is a 'reverse engineered' Java implementation of Pronto Edit - there are a few developer tools available there too and the author is very helpful.

Hi all,

I need a good description of the Pronto file specification, in order to be able to import Pronto files in my application.
Then anyone can use it without needing an infrared interface to learn command.

Thank you,
Dan
