RE: Need hlp with Pronto file specification

If you mean the Pronto IR coding schema, then go to Remote Central and look for a document in the utilities section by Barry Gordon. I’ve used that information to create a number of sets of discrete codes for my kit. If you need to be able to decipher the codes further it might be worth writing a small utility program. Beware though, there is no standard, and different manufacturers all use different formats for their IR code (but then you probably already know that!

Hi all,

I need a good description of the Pronto file specification, in order to be able to import Pronto files in my application.

Then anyone can use it without needing an infrared interface to learn command.

Thank you,

Dan
