Dan,

I see on the web site that there are a few types of hardware that are supported, but I see just a schematics. Do you know if anyone is seeling those things already soldered, I am not good at soldering? Can you also recommend me, which of them you consider is the best. I am a complete newbie on this topic, so I don't even know what to pay attention to.

Most of these devices connect to serial port of PC and work in a single room. What if you need to control devices in multiple rooms? Autom8it probably should not have problems to send commands to different rooms, but what do you need on hardware side?
