Can't talk about Philips boxes (there phones are crap I can tell you
that - DO NOT BUY a PHILIPS 820)
I have a pioneer box and a Nokia. We live 3 miles from Heathfield
transmitter, I have line of sight on the damn thing and I have an 18
element array on CT100 cable. My signal is weather dependent and
will break down in stormy weather on both boxes - more so on the
Nokia.
The Nokia goes down more often than a Whitehouse intern. and is
forever locking up.
I use the Pioneer with my Tivo and get about 1 lock every two weeks.
If you can get a pioneer instead of the Nokia do so.
Just my opinion though......
If you are in the south east contact me off list and I will lend you
one to try.....
