Hi Gareth,

When I was building my cradles I got a couple of compatible sockets
from
CPC, page 735 of the 2003 Catalogue.

The above page also has many other plugs & sockets so you should be
able 
to
either make a conversion cable or just snip the end off a compatible 
supply
and put a new plug on.
