I thought the Sky box had a tuner, but I'm not sure. Try plugging the aerial
into the Sky box and disconnecting the coax link between the box and the TV.
If you go in by SCART only does that bypass the TV's internal tuner ?
Could you try connecting the aerial to the box, and the box to the plasma
and seeing what happens ?

If all that fails I have a s/h Sony tuner box I may be willing to part with
(S-video output). If you're interested, let me know off-list
