  The Datasafe Classic disks arrived this morning. Burned a couple and= they worked superbly on my standalone DVD.

  Anyone want to buy 40 Datasafe Generation 3 disks unopened. Usually = 74p plus VAT per disk =3D 40 * 0.74 + VAT =3D=A334.78 plus shipping. I'll f= log them for =A325 plus postage if anyone wants to take them off my hands.<= BR>

      A quick update on the info I posted a while = ago below....

      After all my testing, finding a compatable D= VD-R and buying 50 disks, Datasafe changed the dye formulation on their bra= nded whitetop disks and didn't tell anyone. Bottom line is the 50 that arri= ved are now incompatable with my player. Damm and I've got 40 unopened left= ! I only found out after burning a couple.

      They have realised they've dropped a clanger= and re-released the original dye formulation as Datasafe Classic Generatio= n 3 DVD-R. I'll order a couple of these to see if they are OK and post back= my findings.
