Hi,

I tried putting my NTL signal over Kat5.  The signal worked okay using my
TV, but my new LCD monitor (composite-in) couldn't handle it - it couldn't
get a good enough lock on the signal.  I tried putting the signal through my
amp and then over Kat5 and that worked on the LCD fine - I guess the amp
boosts the power as well as passing it through.

Does this sound like a signal strength issue?  If so, is there anything I
can get to boost the composite out signal from the NTL box without having to
leave my amp turned on all the time?

Thanks,
-Dan
