IRQ sharing on serial ports (as you probably already know) is
notoriously bad in my experience for lock ups etc. What type of
resources does the card use (i.e. does it use an IRQ for each serial
port or one for all of them?)

I recently got one of those 8 way PCI serial cards from Scan but have

having problems with it. It all installed OK and shows no problems in
device manager but I keep getting lock ups on my machine.

Has anyone else experienced any problems? Or got any ideas what I could
