This seems like a very basic system, I could see it being of use to
augment=
rather than replace existing burglar alarm / home automation system.
>From what I can gather it basically would allow you to turn on or off
devices either individually from the alarm pad, or all lights on / off
from=
the remote control.
>From this I assume the limit would be one house code hence 16 devices
?
I can't see any mention of the ability to have any logic in the system.
For=
example if sensor x comes on then turn lights y on for z minutes.
=A3100 gets you a telephone transponder, which may be useful to your
setup<=
BR>
The communication between sensors and base unit do not appear to be coded
i=
n
anyway. I would have thought that should your neighbours also invest in
any=
X10 devices you could be in for an interesting time !! Also a would
b=
e
burglar probably wouldn't have to much trouble in blocking these
signals.
Personally I would suggest taking a look at either comfort (wired - and
doe=
s
everything) or Visonic (wireless and alarm system 1st, x10 second)
solutions.
As always, I think you get what you pay for.
(Caveat - I am only basing the above on reading the information on
Mikes
site as I do not have one of these, so my comments could be total
rubbish
!!)

Mark
