Has anyone seen this:

http://www.s= tardot-tech.com/wincam_live/index.html

It has some obvious limitations, not least of which are its resolution
(512x384) and its proud claim to be able to update its image "as often=
as once every 15 seconds"! This is no video streaming camera. On the <= BR> other hand, it does get round the problem of connecting multiple cameras spread over a wide area, and the framerate may just be sufficient for
security purposes if you have several covering an area.

But the main thing that caught my eye was the price - $199 is better
than any network camera currently available. On the other hand, the UK
distributor is selling them for =A3249, which makes it completely
uncompetitive when compared to the network camera advertised at solwise. I wonder how many they are selling at that price? Have they got the
exchange rate back to front?

Personally, I think the resolution and framerate are too low, but I
thought I'd mention it in case someone was looking for a solution
between network cameras and webcams in cost ($) and functionality.

Cheers,

Bruno
