RE: Daylight detector

Or the MS13 PIRS - they send an X10 signal as it gets dark/light.

You could try these photo-cell switches :

Does anyone know of anything like a daylight detector?

I want to be able to switch on some outside lights when it's dark and
switch them off again when it's light. I'm intending to use LM15 modules
in the lights and would like to know how to trigger them.

I realise I could use a timer but that needs to be adjusted fairly
frequently.
