Hi Guys
The
Receivers should work ok on the same cable as Pir,s as
already stated they are passive devices . Kens problem with the Dallas
stat
i believe is due to the txing of the data to and from the dallas
chip...This
also occurrs on my zone rx units when HomeVision transmits a signal (or
PC)
to a zone the zone receiver picks up the induced signal....Its not a
problem
for HV or PC as receive mode is not enabled while transmitting
therefore
doesnt get detected...........
Had a look at the $800.00 Plasma compatible IR Receiver
pics and i would
imagine its a standard xantech product but with another filter on
it...Do
people really pay those prices???? I would do some experimentation
before
even considering purchasing the unit............
