Mark,

Given Ive just upped my sparc to four procs I can now consider running jrec
rather than the mock server.  If there are enough people who want this then
if they can email me offlist Ill see if it makes sense to make this happen.
As far as I am aware it would merely be a listing from a db rather than from
a dbm file.  Unfortunately Ive been very busy elsewhere most of the year but
I think I have the time to look at this before the end of the year.

Ben:  Check http://www.l1fe.co.uk/pronto it does not handle playlists as
such but rather its album based.  Mail me if you are interested

Alas no. There is a DDAR-file-generator, but it runs on the original "mock
server for linux", and has never been ported to JRec.

Personally, I no longer use Playlists in any case - what I _used_ to use
them for was to play albums in order (the SB software plays albums by
alphabetical track order). JRec gets around this problem by playing albums
in track order :-)
