You having that many problems with it Phil? I'm hitting mine pretty hard
(IMHO anyway!) and not really had _many_ problems... certainly not to 
the one a night standard.... main problems I had was gaps in the 
carousel (when you make the mistake of lending a disc to 
someone....!).... that was causing discs to be randomly ejected into the
first free space rather than their actual position... which is always 
fun to search for.....! But I solved that by not lending many discs ;>
and replacing lent out discs with CDs or other DVDs so the carousel had
no gaps.
