Got my aquarium before interest in Home Automation so bough one with 
integrated lighting timer, feeder, heater etc in the Lid.

The only thing I would like to do was automate the water change/top 
up but this would have to be discreet and fool/fault proof as there 
is no way I or the fish would survive water being pumped onto the 
dinning room carpet!!!
