Use the minute minder! ;)

Apart from that no and it's not as easy as it first appears either, I've
been trying to figure out a way to do something similar for ages. Of all
the appliances in the house this is the one I would most like Ethernet
reporting of status for.

BTW, it also varies hugely internally from appliance to appliance!
