This discussion's making me increasingly laugh - my
MAIN TV is a 14" portable in the corner of the lounge...

That's at least 9 feet from my head when on the sofa, and
being all I'm used to, its sufficient.

Maybe I'm behind the times???

Depends what you want ... In bed I want something that I can watch while
heading off to sleep - if I want something that is "in my face" I can
run up the projector downstairs and watch that!

I don't want the picture so close or so large that they keep me awake...
