RE: Bedroom TV + telescopic arm?
Hi,
This would appear to be a very useful little display for the
origina=
l
request of being able to watch TV/DVDs in the bedroom.
Presumably, due to the physical size, it=92d need to be fairly
close=
(i.e. not at the end of the bed or on wall behind).
I=92m not sure how heavy this screen would be, but is there any
form=
of
telescopic/extension arm that could be used to hide this display away,
either to the side, or from above. It wouldn=92t have to be
automated=
(well it=92s not absolutely necessary to automate this?), but a little
like a very long angle-poise lamp or something like that?
Is there any other decent colour LCD display that could be used
for<=
BR>
primarily watching TV in Bed (competitors?), within a similar budget
(Can=92t justify a plasma etc).

Well, at the risk of being slated for "plugging" I've just been
s=
ent
evaluation product for a 15.2" widescreen LCD display that has PC,
S-Video and Composite video inputs. (I work at LetsAutomate.) Ken Watt
has one of these display and has reviewed it on www.automatedhome.co.uk
Pretty decent quality, remote control and wall mountable .... Should be
about the =A3300 mark I hope.
